Membership Requirements


The NW Nova club has very reasonable membership requirements:


  1. Show up and be active at the club meetings & functions.

    Show up to at least one meeting to introduce yourself. Show up at future meetings if you like who and what you see.

  2. Member/Family must own or express an interest in 62-79 Chevy II, Nova or other GM X-body vehicles.

  3. “Official” member must be 18+ years old or a member of a family affiliated with a NW Nova group member.

  4. In order to avoid exposing the club to potentially damaging liability issues, any NW Nova Club member operating a vehicle used for club functions or travel to club events must (upon reqest):

    Be able to provide proof of insurance for vehicles involved in club events.
    Be able to show a valid driver’s license

  5. Driving under the influence of ANY intoxicant at a club function will not be tolerated.


As you can see our membership requirements are modest. We want to keep the club fun, safe, and devoted to our favorite subject, Novas, not the maintenance of the club itself. Maintenace of the club is my job as club president. See our club Charter page for our documented requirements and additional detail.

If the club should decide that something needs to be done at the club's expense, we'll collect the necessary funds from club members who want to contribute and make those things happen. If the club should grow big enough that operating in this manner isn't feasible any longer, then we'll consider implementing annual dues, but not until then.

I would love to see each and every Nova owner in the Northwest be a part of this organization. Making our membership requirements modest is one way we can accomplish that.
